A long walk to remember

Went to Eastwood City last saturday, January 28, 2012, with my family minus our ultimate "kill joy" Mom and my Ate because she has a duty plus Ate Maeh, my Kuya's fiance. Had a long drive. We left the house after lunch and arrived at I think 4PM.

It was my second time at Eastwood City but it still amazed me with it's beautiful site. We first went at Eastwood Mall, near my Kuya's office.Nakita namin si Mike Enriquez. Sabi ng Kuya ko parang bading daw. I believe he's really a gay. We were going to see a movie sana, kaso ayaw ni Daddy so kumain muna kami. So we searched for a restaurant to eat, then my Kuya said "Dun nalang sa Mcdo" (Para malapit sa office niya). Ate Maeh shouted "ee bakit dun?". Well wala na naman kaming nagawa. He's the Boss. So kumain na kami and my Kuya went to his office to do some office works.

After eating, we went shopping! Oh yeah, oh yeah. Bought 5 items care of my Daddy and Ate Maeh. Thanks guys :* Inabot na kami ng dilim strolling. Dumating narin kuya ko. Tapos bumalik ulit kami sa Eastwood Mall to take some pictures.

After posing we went back to the parking lot na to go to Global City, Taguig. Nag withdraw muna ulit yung Kuya ko near his office building before we go so I took pictures while waiting.

While walking towards the car, a shuttle caught my attention. It was Toei Animation's shuttle bus. Toei Animation is a known animation company in Manila. My professor  introduced this company to me. I pointed the bus and told Ate Maeh that I can apply for internship in Toei Anim. But I don't have plans applying for an internship in animation industry. Not my preferred field. Then she asked the guard where's the Toei Anim office is. He said some floor at the MegaWorld building in front of the parking lot.

After leaving Eastwood City, we passed by on my Kuya's apartment first. Di pa kasi nakakarating si Daddy dun. Mga 10mins lang from Libis and 5mins from Araneta yung apartment niya.

Naki-ihi at naki-inom lang kami tapos umalis din kami. He take the Cubao route para makadaan din kami sa iba pang lugar. We passed by Araneta Coliseum. Grabe yung traffic. Nakalimutan namin Concert pala ni Anne Curtis. Daming tao! Pagdating namin ng C5 mejo matraffic din. We arrived at Global City siguro mga 8pm na. We parked at Market! Market! Then we head straight to Conti's Pastries and Restaurant to eat kaso full.  Sayang talga! I tasted their Mango Bravo sobrang masarap!! I wanna try their other products sana kaso pang 8th pa kami so we look for other restaurant nalang. *snap*

My Kuya and Daddy searched for a restaurant to eat. Tapos kami nila Ate Maeh visited a super expensive lingerie botique, La Senza. After namin mag window shopping, pumunta na kami sa Italinni's Restaurant to eat. Tapos chika-chika. Masarap din dun kaso i'm not an italian food fan. Tapos they have free breads for their waiting customers. Masarap din :>

 After eating umuwi narin kami. Quarter to 12mn na ata kami nakauwi. Dumaan pa kami sa Mercury to buy Daddy a medicine for his throat. Pag uwi namin sila Ate Maeh naman and my Ate yung may lakad. Sinama narin nila si Ate Babes. They're going to meet Ate Janelle, our cousin who's going to Australia next week. Di narin kami sumama sa sobrang pagod.

Saya lang! I hope we can do this again next time completely before Daddy go abroad again. Thank you Lord for a wonderful date with my family. Sana di na magkumey-jey yung mama ko next time. Thank you, thank you my Lord!!! :*

I remember my Photography Instructor, Sir Jimmy Oblena, once said. If you became a Professional artist, you must give your bestest effort. Kasi pangalan mo yung binibuild mo, reputasyon mo. For example, kumuha ka ng project na mas mababa pa sa regular price na singil mo. Tendency is, you won't put your regular effort. Eh pano kung kinredit yung pangalan mo dun sa artwork na so-so lang? Tapos makikita ng mga dapat na clients mo na ganyan lang yung mga designs mo.

If your an artist because of the money "Aba'y putang ina, wag ka nang magtrabaho at magshift ka na" (That's how he really speaks, with a super funny intonation,ahaha!). You have to be in this business whole heartedly. 

I believe that its very difficult to stay in this business. Specially on MultiMedia Arts field. Because it has different fields. You can be in traditional or digital. Tapos sobra kung makapag evolve ang technology ngayon. Kaylangan mong sumabay. My friend, Benjie, only introduced me to this course. It sounded cool lang to me so I took it. I just chose it para lang makagraduate na ko. Pero nagandahan narin ako as time flies. Hoping that one day I could be a successful filmaker someday. Bahala na si Lord :)

Things end but memories last forever

Yesterday, January 04, 2012, we celebrated our Pinuno's Birthday. Her Ate Edgel invited us on our group "Ang Tropang Porjan". She said that their Mom will be at Adrian's grave to celebrate his birthday. It's been months since we lost him but though he left us soon, meron namang pumalit sakanya.

Before going to his grave, we first meet Roni at Sm Bacoor with Dawn, Kim and Benjie. With her is my inaanak Shawn. Mga 12:45 narin ata kami nagkita-kita.  Konting catch up muna kasi first time din makita ni Kim and Benjie si Shawn. Pinatulog na muna ni Madam (Roni) si Shawn then we ate at Jolibee. On our way to the 3rd floor, binarat muna ni Madam sila Benjie at Kim to buy a shirt for Shawn at nagpauto naman silang dalawa. haha! Pagdating namin sa Jolibee nagising narin si Shawn tapos kumain narin kami. Dun narin nagpalit ng diapers si Roni. Gross talaga yung babaeng yun! Kung san-san iniiwan yung diapers ng anak. While waitng for them to finish their foods naglibot muna kami nila Shawn and Kim and took pictures.

After eating we decided to go to Quantum to have our favorite past time, Videoke! Ang tatanda na namin pero nagqua-quantum pa kami. hahaha! So while singing, pinapatulog narin namin si Shawn eh talagang matigas ang ulo. Bugnot na bugnot na siya. Mana sa nanay.

 Then some of our friends have started to arrive kaya mas lalo nang masaya at magulo. First was Dan then sumunod si Rm. Si Rm naman yung binarat ni Roni para bumili ng regalo for Shawn. Ginagawa niyang business yung anak niya. So Rm and Kim goes to the Department store to buy Shawn a gift.

4pm daw pupunta si Tita Gemma, Adrian's mom, and it's already 4pm and Myco and Jackson are already in Angelus where Adrian's remain lying. But Rm and Kim is still at the Department Store so we're waiting for them sa may Goldilucks. Dumating narin si Jomarie. Bibili sana kami ng cake kaso nung tinawagan namin yung Mama ni Adrian sabi niya wag na daw kaming magdala ng pagkain kaya bumili nalang kami ng Macaroons. Si Myco naman nangpepressure pa, ayaw pa kasing pumunta dun sa puntod ni Adrian

When we got there nakita na namin sila Myco and Jack sitting somewhere in Angelus. Tapos dumeretso na kami sa grave ni Adrian. We saw his mom with their churchmates and accommodate us. We catched up after Adrian's interment. Tapos pinakain niya kami. Tapos picture-picture. We really admire his family especilly his Mom. Nung first day ng burol mugto yung mga mata niya. We never ask here that time why Adrian brought to that. Pero kahit hindi pa namin alam nuon yung dahilan niya, naiintindihan parin namin si Adrian and never judged him. Unlike some people na kilala lang siya sa pangalan, eh grabe kung makapagcomment as if nakasama nila ng isang beses man lang si Adrian. Nung pangalawang punta namin, nakakapag-accommodate na ng bumibisita yung Mom niya. Seriously, masakit mawalan nang kaibigan, pano pa kaya kung anak yung nawala sayo. But she never shows weakness. Thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ who strengthen their family.

 Nauna nang umuwi sila Tita Gemma. Mga 6pm ata sila umuwi tapos kami nagpaiwan muna to mingle with Adrian. Roni, Irvin, Kat-kat and I are the original fans of Adrian. Nung high school kami, we always make harot with him. Naguunahan kami para sa atensyon na with completely no malice. Wala lang! Gusto lang naming harutin siya because of his silence inside the room. Boys calls him "Pinuts" or "Pinuno" but we always call him "Mr. Pogi". We always get kilig when he borrows a mirror or anything to us. Tapos nagyayabangan kami!haha. His famous line was "PAKAAYOS KA AH!". He said that to me when we we're in 1st year high school. Tinusok ko kasi yung pwet niya nuon, then he shouted at me. Sorry naman Pinuts!haha. Lahat na ginawa namin para pagkatuwaan siya pero wa epek talaga!! Iisa lang talaga ang naglalaman ng kanyang puso, at wala na kaming magagawa don!haha. Maraming di nakakaalam na "lover boy" si Pinuts. He once knelled down a girl named Margaret. Pero feeling ko pinagsisishan niya yun. Chos lang Balots!haha. Pero iisa lang talaga ang hanggang sa huli ay minahal niya. Itago nalang natin siya sa pangalang "Nicolette", his character name in  his ever favorite online game, Freestyle. Yun yung lagi niyang nilalaro pag naaabutan namin siya sa may Ryka. Kung may competition lang sa paglalaro nun. Siya na ang Champion! Sayang nga lang at naudlot ang lovestory nila dahil dinarag siya ni Karl which happened to be Nicole's bf that time. Pero mahal na nila yung isa't isa at willing si Nicole iwan si Karl para kay Pinuts. Eh nadarag ang tropa.

We convinced Roni not to go home early at sumama naman siya. Sabi namin ihahatid namin siya ng kotse ni Lois. We just assumed na papayag si Lois kaya dumeretso na kami sa Justinville. Pero may class pa si Lois until 9pm kaya nagintay nalang kami sa may sala and ate noodles. Dumaan din kami sa bahay nila Rm. While waiting for Kat-kat, Nicole and Berna we just chat, play cards and the never ending picturan. Angie also arrived and met Roni. Tinanong niya pa kung ka-batch daw namin si Roni, akala niya teacher namin! Lol.

 It's already 11pm when Nicole and Kat-kat arrived. Sabi nila dadaan pa sila ng Angelus pero sabi namin wala nang ilaw dun. Pero ang lover na si Nicole ayaw papigil. When they got there daw hanggang gate lang daw sila. Pero si Nicole ayaw papigil gusto daw pumasok, eh natatakot na si Kat-kat. Di nalang daw sila tumuloy. Few minutes after, dumating narin si Berna. Tapos nagusap-usap na kami ng mga kalokohan. Like how did Roni and her boyfriend did what they did. lol! Ayaw naman niyang sabihin. Puro lang kami tawanan.

It's already 12mn but Lois isn't home yet so we convinced Dan na yung sasakyan nalang nila yung gamitin namin panghatid kela Roni sa Dasma. 12:30 narin sila nakarating ni Jomarie when Lois came. Di narin siya sumama. Before we leave we prayed first to God for our guidance. On our way to Dasma, dumaan kami ng Robinsons imus. Dead air. Sumilip ako ng konti and saw the place where my friend fell. Sobrang kitang-kita mo sa loob yung loob kahit nasa high way ka. It gave me goosebumps.

Nung malapit na kami sa may Dasma Bayan kung saan parang bundok yung daan eh tumirik pa yung sasakyan. So we have to get off the van at magtulak. We get off the van and Benjie shouted "Hoy Kim bakit ka bumaba? Mahahamugan yung bata!!". Tapos sumigaw si Roni "Hoy Benjie gusto mo bang isugal yung buhay ng anak ko!?". Then we started pushing the van. I shouted "Berna picturan mo!". Tapos sila nagrereklamo. Nakuha pa daw naming magpicturan. I told them "Ok lang yan, sasaya naman tayo two years from now pag nakita natin tong picture na to". Lol. Naka 45° angle yung sasakyan at pataas namin siya tinutulak. Berna took pictures of us. While Benjie make mando on us as you can see on the picture below.

 Si Roni naman hinawakan lang yung saakyan para lang masama sa picture. Tapos sabi ni Kat "Hoy Roni yung sasakyan itulak mo, wag ako!". Si Jomarie naman sumigaw "BIBITAW NA KO!!". lmao! Akala mo naman siya may dala ng lahat ng bigat ng sasakyan!haha. May times na nahuhulog yung sasakyan so Kat-kat blocked her feet sa may gulong. Engot eh! Para namang mapipigilan niya yung pagatras ng sasakyan!haha. This is why I love my friends!! We are engots in our own way!

That moment was EPIC!! Mga 20mins. siguro kaming nagtulak dun. Yung mga tricycle driver tinitignan lang kami. Pero sobrang saya. First time kong nagawang magtulak ng sasakyan. haha! Nagsigawan nalang kami nang umandar na ulit yung sasakyan. Tapos pinagtitinginan parin kami ng mga taong nasa kalsada.

Di din alam ni Roni where they lived. So she called up her Ate and we decided to go after some buses. Dire-diretcho lang kami hanggang sa makita na ni Roni yung village nila. When we got there, nagpaalamanan na. 1year nanaman ulit ang biblangin for us to see Roni again. And at that moment, malaki narin siguro si Shawn. Mga 15mns lang kami nagstay sakanila. Tapos umuwi narin kami. On our way home, we recalled all the things happened to us that day. Laughing and laughing all through out the ride home. Tapos hinatid na namin si Nicole, then si Adong. Tapos dun na kami bumamba sa bahay nila Dan. Pag uwi pa namin ako lang magisang aakyat sa Silver. Then Jomarie shouted "Hatid ka nalang ni Adrian!". Sira ulong tao to!! Alam nang natatakot yung tao tapos... So pinilit ko silang ihatid ako hanggang sa street namin..haha! Thanks Guys!

We really had fun celebrating Adrian's 1st birthday with God. Happy Birthday again Mr. Pogi!! Sayang nga lang sa ganitong paraan nalang natitn macecelebrate yung birthday mo. Pero oks lang! As long as you're at peace na! Masaya na kami dun :) 

Spending a whole day with my friends is one of the most refreshing feeling. no dull moments, we're all just having fun!! We just live Young and Wild and Free!!! Wanna know what's the secret of Tropang Porjan?? We always center God. Yun lang naman eh! Thank you Lord for another wonderful day. Guide us always and make us what you want as to be.
