AQUAMAN
Have you ever felt owning a song? Not legitimately owning but the feeling as if a song is perfectly and personally created for you - and your feelings. I felt that the first time I heard Walk The Moon's Aquaman. I'm blessed to have a work which requires me to discover different genres of songs - actually ako lang nagrequire sa sarili ko.
I have songs on my list like Brighter than Sunshine, Girl Be Mine, Love Looks Good on You, Everything to name a few. But this song I recently discovered has a big hit in my heart. Yung talagang nangungusap! I don't know. I just feel every words the lyricist is trying to convey to his listener.
Even the melody. I just love how they created the melody as if it is a time machine (I really really love listening to music that makes me feel young again). I was once with a friend, Jackson, recently and I made him listeed to this song then he said "bago nanaman trip mong kanta ngayon ah, puro naman 80's". I told him it's a song released last year and suggested to listen to Walk the Moo's other songs haha!
I even wrote this to my future GB (yes, I am writing things for my future GB as stated on my recent blog entry). I want to share this only to my future GB but this song is too good not to share with my friends. I was thinking kasi they might like it too, mawawala na yung authenticity ng favorite song ko for my GB. Wierd ba? Gusto ko ako lang may favorite eh. Bakit ba?haha!
So yeah, to my future GB, this song is dedicated to you! Can't wait to share this personally to you and play it while we're on a road trip and singing this breathlessly. Corny diba?
