TUESDAY WORK

Hi Blog! It's been a week since the busiest time of my year. I told you on my last post that I will be updating you every piece of my loaded schedule. Let me start with my meeting with my Boss for our new show.

Busy week started with my meeting with Pedro (I call him Pedro because his surname is Peters). He asked me to come to his place to discuss our upcoming show next year. It will be our first time to work on our OWN show (ever since Sir Mel left the company, we never did our own show here in Manila. The company sells the show to other local promoters). And now, it's time for Pedro to handle his own show.

I honestly don't know my position when it comes to Midas right now. Before our previous boss left, I feel the need of the company for my service. But ever since we don't do our own shows for Manila na nga, all I do is to update our social media. No complains but it feels so uneasy for me to receive salary just by posting things on social media.

So what happened on our meeting. I was an hour late!! Thank you to that taxi driver na pina-ikot-ikot ako sa Makati tapos binaba ako sa maling lugar. i even gave him a great amount of tip! So I had to walk nalang for 15mins to get to Pedro's place. When I got there, Pedro discussed to me the things that needs to be done for the next project. He even told me that I will be trying to communicate with our potential sponsors to tap them on our show. I was like...

I mean, I wasn't trained for these. Mejo culture shocked pa ko! But I am greatful the opportunity he's trying to give me. It'll be added to my knowledge. Mejo nagulat lang ako!haha. All I did in school was to rush stupid plates and I never encountered marketing or anything in school before. But I have a little background about it since I was always cc-ed in all Ms. Grace's (in charge of marketing before) emails.

During our meeting he also asked me to research for potential sponsors that will fit on the artist while we are waiting for the Singapore team cause we will be having a skype meeting for the very first time. Antisocial alert! Antisocial alert!

So the meeting went good. And I did not talk. All I just did was to nod my head to say that I agree (oh the awkwardness in me). SG team was so nice people and very accommodating since I'm a first timer. To sum it up, we discussed things and strategy for Manila and Singapore. It lasted for I think an hour and a half. I should really get rid of my awkward self to survive this business.

Side story:
While we were discussing about celebrities we could get to promote our shows on social media, he mentioned we could ask his friend and my supercrush, LA!hahahaha. (If you have no idea what I'm talking about, browse my previous entries). Will this be the time for me and LA to meet? Weee!!

I went home to at around 5pm. Walked all the way to Pedro's place to Makati Med. I don't want to be fooled again by the taxi drivers! I really hate going to Makati. It's very difficult for me to familiarize the places there though dun lagi yung meeting namin. Kaya hindi ako nagdadala ng sasakyan pag dun yung meeting namin. I'd rather commute kesa mahuli ako dahil pumasok ako sa one way street.

I went home I think 8pm. I was depressed. Beside the tiresome day, I just feel worthless sa company after the meeting. Maybe because I haven't found my place there yet. But I hope in time... In God's perfect time. He will show me the light (lol) and I will feel comfortable again in the company.

So there! Thats how I started the busiest week of the year! Will post more of the happenings soon :)

IN ALL THINGS,
GOD SHOULD ALWAYS BE GLORIFIED!
